A global Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer in the Telford area are looking for two Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers with an electrical biasThe ideal candidate will be a hard-working and adaptable Engineer with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and provide planned, preventative maintenance expertise along with responses to reactive breakdownsThis is a fantastic opportunity with a multi-national Automotive company who supply to some the biggest OEM’s in the industryThe maintenance department is currently operating on a Double Days shift pattern Role: Maintenance Engineer Location: Telford Salary: £43,700 - £48,300Shift: Double Days (07:00 – 15:00 & 15:00 – 23:00) The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role will be:Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment.Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across plant and production equipment.Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with machine upgrades and installations.Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and fast response to breakdowns.Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company’s CMMS system.Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies at all times.Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of operation.The key requirements of the Maintenance Engineer will be:Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within fast paced manufacturing environments such as Automotive, Food, FMCG and moreStrong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.Ability to read technical drawings and fault-find using PLCs (advantageous but not essential).Willingness to work double days shiftsExperience on Injection Moulding machinery is highly preferredPlease apply online or contact for a confidential conversationExecutive Network Group, encompassing Technical Network, Network HR, HSE Network & Procurement People, sourcing mid to senior level management for automotive, aerospace, engineering and manufacturing industrial sectors, with a portfolio of services including executive search, advertising, MRO for permanent and interim contract recruitment services
