Your Teaching Career Starts Here: Opportunities for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to take the next step in your teaching career? Looking to build valuable classroom experience while discovering the school that's the right fit for you? We have exciting opportunities to help you develop your skills, grow in confidence, and find the perfect start to your teaching journey.
We are looking for both full time and part time ECTs who are happy to cover all year groups. If you have a specific preference of days you would like to work or age groups you would prefer to support, please let us know and we can meet your expectations. Permanent positions can be offered through Vision for Education on a temp-to-perm basis if the school feel you are the right fit, and this is something you wish to pursue yourself. Vision for Education are delighted to help you build experience and confidence as you begin your teaching career, as we will offer you the opportunity to teach within a variety of school environments, delivering engaging lessons in your specialist subject while developing your classroom practice.
Responsibilities may include:
Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculumCreating a positive and inclusive learning environmentManaging classroom behaviour effectively and supporting pupil engagementAssessing and monitoring pupil progressWorking collaboratively with school staff to support student developmentPermanent positions can be offered through Vision for Education on a temp-to-perm basis if the school feel you are the right fit, and this is something you wish to pursue yourself.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTSA relevant degree or teaching qualificationA genuine passion for education and supporting young peopleStrong classroom management and communication skillsThe flexibility and enthusiasm to work across different school settingWhat we offer
