As part of its strategic growth, the business is seeking a talented Group Financial Accountant to strengthen its finance function and support senior leadership.Your new role Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of key financial processes and reporting across the group. Your responsibilities will include:Managing ie accounting and controls across all homes and funding streamsOverseeing intepany accounting, reconciliation, and settlementAnalysing staff costs and preparing accrualsSupporting internal reporting including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheetMonitoring covenantpliance and advising on risk mitigationLiaising with auditors and overseeing statutory accounts preparationManaging corporation tax packs andpany secretarial dutiesLeading VATpliance and optimisation, including inspectionsOverseeing balance sheet reconciliations and project accounting for new buildsDriving strategic projects such as acquisitions, system migrations, and process improvementsThis is a high-impact role offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence financial decision-making across the group.What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring:A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experienceProven experience in group financial accounting and reportingGood knowledge of UK taxAdvanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindsetExcellentmunication skills, both written and verbalA proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach to workThe ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under pressureWhat you'll get in return Apetitive salary and benefits packageThe opportunity to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking finance teamExposure to strategic projects and senior leadershipCareer development opportunities within a growing organisationA supportive culture that values innovation and continuous improvement
