Real Estate Energy Senior Associate BBBH56747_1747820944 Solicitor / FCILEX - Real Estate & Energy (5+ Years' PQE)Location: Exeter The OpportunityA unique opportunity exists for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive with a focus on Real Estate and Energy to join a forward-thinking team in Exeter. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, solar, EV, battery storage, hydro, and other cutting-edge technologies. As part of this role, you will manage an interesting caseload that includes drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, options, leases, easements, and grid connection agreements. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including corporate, construction, and planning, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients in the renewable energy sector. Key ResponsibilitiesHandle a diverse caseload in renewable energy projects, from onshore wind to solar and battery storage.Draft and negotiate key legal documents, including options, leases, power purchase agreements, easements, and grid connection agreements.Work collaboratively across departments, including corporate, construction, and planning, to offer integrated legal services to clients.Contribute to business development activities and assist in raising the team's profile in the energy sector.About You To be successful in this role, you will be:A Solicitor or Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives (FCILEX) with 5+ years' PQE.Experienced in the energy sector, particularly with options and leases, and passionate about renewable energy.Commercially astute, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and enhance the reputation of the firm.Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure in a busy, professional environment.A team player with a collaborative and flexible approach.What's On OfferCompetitive salary with an annual profit share.Hybrid working options, supporting a healthy work-life balance.25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays and birthday), private medical insurance, group life assurance, and comprehensive wellbeing support.Flexible working arrangements, including part-time and job share opportunities.If you're seeking a role where you can have a meaningful impact on renewable energy projects and work alongside experts in a dynamic and growing sector, this opportunity in Exeter is the ideal next step in your career.
