Freight Forwarder Bristol Up to £30,000 I’m currently working with a leading global logistics organisation to find an ambitious Freight Forwarder to join their busy Bristol team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment, handling a range of shipments across road, air, and sea. The Role You will be responsible for managing and processing shipments, booking with shipping lines, agents, and hauliers, and providing exceptional service to clients. You’ll also handle customs clearance processes, create orders, negotiate rates, and manage invoices, all while ensuring smooth operations and maximising profit margins. Key Responsibilities Managing and processing road, air, and sea freight shipments Booking shipments with shipping lines, agents, and hauliers Tracking shipments and keeping clients updated Handling customs clearance for imports and exports Creating orders, negotiating rates, and managing invoices Building and maintaining strong client relationships What They’re Looking For Experience in freight forwarding operations (essential) Multimodal freight forwarding experience (desirable) Knowledge of customs clearance processes (preferred) Strong understanding of transport and global logistics Excellent customer service and negotiation skills Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Strong IT skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment What’s on Offer Up to £30,000 per year (depending on experience) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Contributory pension scheme Cycle to Work scheme Health Cash Plan Employee Assistance Programme This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established logistics operation and take your freight forwarding career to the next level.
