Commodity Buyer

RPS are working exclusively with a long standing, Lancashire based aerospace & defence tier 1 manufacturer who, after a period of sustained growth are looking to hire an experienced Buyer to join the procurement team The Role; * Identifying and sourcing suppliers * Conducting supplier reviews including negotiating pricing and terms of business * Conducting cost analysis *Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk * Develop and report on weekly KPIs to measure progress against company goals Your experience; * 3+ years in a buyer role * Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing industry * Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation and cost breakdown * CIPS qualified (nice to have) If you feel that you are fit for this Buyer role, please apply today and one of our consultants will be in touch to discuss your background, the role and company in more detail.
