The emphasis is now on finding a Moulding Setter who can ensure their high-quality standards are maintained as they continue to grow and expand. The role of Setter will play a key part in the running of the shift, ensuring quotas are met whilst maintaining high levels of quality. Additionally, you will assist in the up-skilling of staff within the mouldshop. ***£30,000 - £33,000, working Monday to Friday*** As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include: Condition setting of moulding machines. Carrying out tool changes. Ensuring production output is maintained whilst ensuring quality levels are achieved and scrap is kept to a minimum. Resolving process issues and moulding defects. Training and development of Operators and trainee Setters. To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will: Have experience of working in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment as a Tool Setter or Process Technician. Be able to resolve process issues and moulding faults in a timely manner. Demonstrate best practice procedures for carrying out tool changes and setting machines. Have a good knowledge of a variety of materials and their properties.
