Senior Procurement Specialist Peterborough | £55,000–£60,000 | Hybrid (2–3 days in office) Permanent | 37 hours per weekI’m recruiting for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join a major infrastructure organisation delivering large-scale, high-value projects across the region. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone from a gas, oil, construction or utilities background who’s confident managing complex procurement activity and wants to make a real impact.What you’ll be doingLeading end-to-end procurement on major infrastructure projectsManaging sourcing pipelines, tender processes and high-value contract negotiationsWorking with NEC contract terms across multiple workstreamsBuilding strong supplier partnerships and driving commercial valueEnsuring full compliance across public procurement regulationsInfluencing internal stakeholders to support project delivery What we’re looking for Strong background in gas, oil, construction, utilities or major infrastructure5–7 years’ experience in complex procurementConfident working with NEC contractsGood understanding of public procurement rulesCIPS Level 5 / RICS or similar (desirable)Commercial mindset, strong negotiator, and comfortable managing multiple projects What’s in it for you?
