Job description Are you an experienced education professional looking for a rewarding role? Prospero Teaching have multiple opportunities for Tutors to support young people in the Littlehampton area. This is your chance to make a real difference in learners’ lives.About the Role You will provide personalised tuition to students who may face additional challenges, including: SEN (Special Educational Needs) SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Trauma Risk of Permanent Exclusion (PEX) Your sessions will help learners build confidence, engage positively, and achieve academic success. As a Tutor, you will: Deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs Support emotional well-being and encourage positive engagement Work 1:1 or in small groups, adapting strategies for complex needs Track progress and share feedback with parents and schools Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment About you: Minimum 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as Tutor, Teacher, Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, ELSA, or 1:1 support Experience working with learners with additional needs Strong communication and organisational skills If you’re passionate about education and ready to inspire young people, we’d love to hear from you Position -TutorContract or position start date – ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) – N/AFull time/part-time – VariedHours – Various/ flexible hoursEssential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people Experience of working with learners with SEN To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
