QA Technician

Quality Assurance Technician Location: Edenbridge Salary: £25, per annum + excellent benefits including 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Private Medical (following probation), Bonus, and excellent training and development opportunities. Job Type: Full-time / 7.00am -3.30pm Monday-Friday. 8am/8.30 start time also available and whilst in training.**Do you have experience within Quality Control? In this role, you will ensure that all packaging materials and finished goods meet strict quality and safety standards, supporting compliance with BRCGS Packaging, ISO , and food industry regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and final packaged goodsPerform visual quality checks using colour standards, product samples, and reference specificationsAccurately document inspection results and complete all required quality and traceability recordsIdentify and report non-conformances; assist in investigations and root cause analysisSupport the development and implementation of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)Promote a strong food safety and quality culture in collaboration with production and engineering teamsEnsure full compliance with BRCGS Packaging Materials Standard, ISO , GMP, and food safety standardsParticipate in internal audits, hygiene inspections, and continuous improvement projectsCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a technical role within food or packaging sectorsSolid understanding of BRC, ISO , and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approachProficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and record-keepingClear communicator with strong teamwork and interpersonal skillsDependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentWant to apply?If you're ready to take the next step in your QC/QA career and work in a dynamic and supportive environment, apply now online with your most up to date CV for consideration.Or send your CV in confidence to .This role is being managed by Debbie Foster - Office Angels - Tunbridge Wells - .
