We have a new opportunity available for a Groundworker at a renowned home improvement specialist firm in Oxford. The successful candidate will be working on high spec projects in the Oxfordshire area and you will earn around £170 per day. About the company Our client specialises in Garden Rooms, with a focus entirely on Garden Rooms, Patio Rooms, Veranda Rooms and External Landscaping. They offer you a constantly evolving product range and a faster, more streamlined service than their competitors. About the role This company offers a truly personal service to its customers and provides professional and polite tradespeople. As a Groundworker representing the company your duties may include: Preparation of the site with drainage, foundations and sub-surfaces Operating plant machinery to perform excavation or earthmoving tasks Laying driveways, footpaths and other finishing touches Concrete, Kerbing and Flagging Setting up and taking down the construction site before and after works Operating plant machinery to perform excavation or earthmoving tasks. About you To be successful for the role of Groundworker, you must have / be: Experience with concrete pours, rafts and footings Able to drive a digger Experience in setting out Experience with drainage Full UK driving licence Strong work ethic Comfortable working alone and as part of a team Excellent people and customer service skills Resiliant with a can do attitude A strong work ethic Reliable and able to use your initiative Pride and passion in your work About the Rewards For the role of Groundworker, you will receive: Salary of £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (£170 per day) Career progression Overtime available
