Are you an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We are recruiting for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join the team in a leading NHS Trust in Wales. The Trust only works on Direct Engagement Mode of payment. Description: This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic acute setting, providing top-tier care to patients in need of rehabilitation and support. Join a forward-thinking team committed to patient-centered care and innovative treatments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs in an acute hospital setting. Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Educate and support patients, their families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process. Accurately maintain patient records and actively contribute to discharge planning. Requirements: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in an acute hospital setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on patient-centered care. A commitment to continuous professional development.
