The Role As an AML/Compliance/Onboarding Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's risk and compliance functions. You will be responsible for ensuring that all client onboarding and due diligence procedures comply with regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise in AML and compliance within a top-tier legal environment. Key Responsibilities:Assisting with client due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks in line with AML regulations.Conducting risk assessments on new and existing clients.Reviewing and verifying identification documents, company structures, and source of funds.Supporting the compliance team in monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring firm-wide adherence to policies.Assisting with onboarding new clients, liaising with fee earners, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.Maintaining compliance records and updating internal systems.Supporting with internal audits and regulatory reporting as required.Requirements:Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment within an AML, compliance, or onboarding role.Strong understanding of AML regulations, CDD, and KYC procedures.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A legal background or experience as a paralegal within compliance is desirable but not essential.What's on Offer?Competitive salary based on experience.The opportunity to work in a highly respected firm with a strong compliance function.A supportive and collaborative working environment.Career development and training opportunities.
