D1 Minibus Driver – LutonNewstaff Employment is hiring a D1 Minibus Driver in Luton to provide safe, efficient, and friendly transport services for children, adults, and the elderly across the borough. Location: Luton, BedfordshireSalary: £13.47 per hourWorking Hours: 30 hours per weekJob Type: Temporary / Ongoing Enhanced DBS is essential (or willingness to obtain one). Please note: Applications submitted via third-party websites (except Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a minibus to transport passengers according to scheduled routes. Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort. Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any faults or maintenance needs. Maintain accurate journey logs and incident reports. Deliver a high standard of customer service to passengers and carers. Adhere to all road safety and company transport policies. Work flexibly to cover early mornings, evenings, or weekends when required. Essential Skills & Experience: Full UK driving licence with Category D1 entitlement. Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one). Previous experience driving minibuses or passenger transport vehicles (preferred). Good knowledge of Luton and the surrounding areas. Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Understanding of safeguarding, disability awareness, and passenger care. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Why Join?
