Field Service Engineer – Industrial Presses Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Benefits We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support the servicing and maintenance of industrial press machinery for a long-established engineering business. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work with robust, high-value equipment across a range of customer sites. The RoleCarry out planned servicing, breakdown response, and preventative maintenance on industrial pressesDiagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faultsInstall and commission new and refurbished machineryProvide technical advice and support to customers on-siteComplete service reports, risk assessments and job documentationTravel to customer sites across the Midlands and wider UK, with occasional overnight staysThe Ideal CandidateBackground as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Technician within heavy engineering or industrial machineryExperience with presses, CNC, hydraulics or similar equipment is highly advantageousConfident fault-finding skills and a methodical approach to problem-solvingStrong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitudeFull UK driving licence essentialWhat’s on Offer£37,000 – £45,000 basic salary, dependent on experiencePaid overtime and travel timeCompany vehicle, fuel card, tools and PPE providedPension scheme, holiday allowance and additional benefitsStructured training and support from an experienced engineering teamLong-term job security within a stable and growing business
