The company offers a dynamic and forward-thinking commercial environment, where finance professionals are encouraged to partner closely with operations and senior leadership to drive performance and strategic growth.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:Take ownership of preparing and presenting accurate monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.Conduct in-depth variance analysis, highlighting key trends and insights to support informed business decisions.Maintain oversight of all balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.Manage and update the fixed asset register, including calculation and posting of depreciation.Prepare and review key journals such as accruals, prepayments, and adjustments to ensure correct period reporting.Lead the planning and coordination of the annual budget cycle and support the delivery of rolling forecasts.Assist with statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit activities, providing detailed supporting schedules as required.Partner with department heads and senior management, providing financial insight and guidance to aid operational decision-making.Champion continuous improvement within finance systems and processes, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy (including SAP and related tools).Provide support to the purchase and sales ledger functions when required, ensuring smooth transactional operations.Undertake additional finance-related duties as directedThe Successful ApplicantA successful Management Accountant should have:Qualified to AAT Level 4 as a minimum, ideally working towards CIMA/ACCAProven experience in accounting and finance, exposure to manufacturing environment is plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.An ability to work collaboratively across departments.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.What's on OfferA competitive salary ranging from £33,000 to £45,000 per annum.Permanent position with long-term career prospects.Full CIMA/ACCA Study supportOpportunities to work in a reputable organisation within Wrexham.Supportive and professional company culture.Potential for career growth in the accounting and finance sector.If you are an experienced Management Accountant ready to take the next step in your career, this role icould be the perfect fit for you, apply now
