Advert The Student Liaison will play a key role in enhancing the Personal Development (PD) programme by liaising with both staff and students to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and engaging. This includes maintaining high standards of PD lessons, supporting extracurricular activities, and fostering a positive, inclusive student environment. Key Responsibilities: PD Programme updates:, write and maintain high-quality PD lesson plans that are aligned with safeguarding updates and the needs of students. Create and develop PD levels from entry-level to Level 3 to ensure progressive learning opportunities. Visitor Coordination: Support the planning and booking of external PD visitors to enrich the learning experience. Enrichment delivery: Organise and offer engaging on-site enrichment activities that help build social skills, encourage socialisation, and allow students to explore their talents in fun and interactive ways (e.g., sports, music, healthy eating). Community Links: Organise one or two annual trips to Stalisfield Forest School to promote community engagement and experiential learning. Student Voice: Foster an environment where students feel comfortable voicing their opinions on college life, as well as suggesting new opportunities. Explore options for student representation at each site. Promote student leadership by facilitating the election of a student representative who can provide feedback to the board and participate in staff recruitment processes. Social Responsibility: Link PD content to local government initiatives and community activities, encouraging students to engage in real-world experiences. Additional Information: Location: Travel to all sites as required. Hours: 18 hours per week, term-time only.
