Head of Energy and Renewables - Top 100 firm - Manchester

This national firm, with multiple offices across the South-East, is expanding its operations and they are looking to grow its Energy and Renewables space in their fast-growing Manchester office.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a Head of Energy and Renewables to join a growing Top 100 firm based in Manchester

The firm's corporate, commercial, banking, construction and real estate teams are regularly instructed on a broad range of high-value and complex energy deals, projects and disputes in Wales and the UK.

The existing client base operates a wide sector range from operators of wind farms, anaerobic digestion plants, tidal power and solar farms to developers, housing associations, housebuilders and national utility companies and much more.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the energy sector in the UK.

Requirements:

You will be a qualified solicitor 8+ years PQE The ideal candidate will have specialised in energy & renewables and considerable experience in managing a mixed caseload

Previous experience in a leadership role, supervising junior staff
