Diagnostics TechnicianLocation: Bristol -Bradley Stoke, BS32Salary: £28,000 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – FridayContract: Full-time, Permanent - Immediate Start(Onsite role)About the RolePertemps Technical are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Diagonistics Technician to join their busy service team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing technical support and helping to maintain the highest quality standards across a range of coffee vending machines.This is a varied role combining customer service, technical support, spare parts coordination and continuous improvement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide telephone and email support to customers, resolving technical queries and incidentsDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues with vending machinesProcess and manage spare parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveryInspect, test, and analyse returned components, preparing detailed reportsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics (SAP experience desirable)Prepare and update technical documentation for internal teams and customersCollaborate with Sales, Quality, R&D, and Production to support issue resolutionEnsure compliance with data protection, health & safety, and ISO standardsWhat We’re Looking ForUnderstanding of basic electrical principlesKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systemsStrong IT skills (MS Office, MD Dynamics; SAP advantageous)Excellent communication skills, written and verbalOrganised and able to manage multiple tasks effectivelyProblem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approachTeam player with a proactive attitudeAppliance/technical support background essentialWhat’s on OfferBonus schemes of up to 5%23–28 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), increasing with length of serviceEnhanced pension schemeFree parkingChristmas shutdownEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOngoing training, development, and career progression opportunitiesGreat team environment and high-quality facilitiesHow to ApplyIf you are interested in this role, please click apply and attach your CV.
