Position: Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Accident & Emergency Location: East Anglia Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract Hours: Twilight Shifts, 16:00 – 00:00 Start Date: 1st July 2024 End Date: 1st August 2024 Salary: Competitive Salary About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Accident & Emergency to join our team in East Anglia. This is a fixed-term contract position starting on 1st July 2024 and ending on 1st August 2024. The role involves working twilight shifts from 16:00 to 00:00. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Accident & Emergency department. Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care. Prioritize patient needs and respond to emergencies promptly. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Mentor and support junior medical staff as required. Requirements: Medical degree and full GMC registration (or equivalent). Strong experience and training in Emergency Medicine. Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent clinical and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
