Accounts Assistant sought by a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide. This is a permanent position, 30 hours, 4 days per week. The Role:Reporting to the Credit Management & Accounting Manager, Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:Purchase to pay corresponding activitiesOrder to cash corresponding activitiesExternal reporting to Companies House and HMRCFinancial accounting general enquiriesAudit assistance: year-end, interim and statutory audit, HMRC government audits and other audit requirementsYear-end reporting and other adhoc reporting requirementsDepartmental tasks and general administrationCredit Management & Accounting Manager coverTravel CoordinatorThe successful Credit & Cash Management Assistant will demonstrate:Experience in credit control or purchase ledger would be advantageousPrevious working knowledge of SAPSelf-driven, friendly and a positive disposition, with a clear focus on high quality and delivering resultsAccuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisation skillsActively participates in team work to ensure organisational goals are metAbility to prioritise own workload & multitaskComputer literate in all MS Office applicationsBenefits:£23,875 - £28,750 pro rata depending on experience32 days holidays including bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years’ service 50% hybrid over 2 week period after probation30 hours, 4 days per weekFlexible hours (core hours 10am-3pm)Time off in lieuPension schemeAccess to benefits platform Internal and external training & development courses available Option to buy and sell holiday Cycle to Work scheme Onsite parking Free flu jabsHealth & wellbeingEnhanced paternity pay after 2 yearsLong service awardsEmployee assistance programmeInternal training academyAccess to external training and supported educationSocial culture and eventsAccounts AssistantRoss-on-Wye, Herefordshire £23,875 - £28,750 depending on experience + excellent benefits
