SEND Teaching AssistantMiddlesbrough Up to £ per week About the role Connex Education is recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant position at a pupil referral unit in the Teesside area. The role involves supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students with special educational needs and disabilities who are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education. Candidates must be based in Teesside or surrounding areas and will work with vulnerable young people, providing crucial support to prevent educational exclusion during critical periods of their schooling. Assignment Details: Beginning January this Monday-Friday position involves helping students with Education, Health and Care Plans reach their academic objectives while maintaining their place in mainstream education.
