The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in CAMHS Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of community psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues. 8PAs Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in West London CAMH Service, specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders. West London has successfully transformed into specialist subteams for the last year. The post holder will have the responsibility of managing young people within the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Subteam. You will be supported to use your skills and expertise to the full, working as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary care team (MDT) consisting of nursing staff, clinical psychologists, systemic family psychotherapists, child psychotherapists, administrative staff and other Consultant Psychiatry colleagues. The clinic has up to 4 psychiatric trainees at a time, and regular medical school placements from Imperial College Medical School. The primary role will be to provide direct clinical input to young people and families, especially those whose mental health needs are particularly complex and to support the other members of the MDT in relation to clinical management of complex cases.
