Projects & Construction Solicitor – Edinburgh or Glasgow

This Energy and Infrastructure team is currently recruiting a Projects and Construction Solicitor. The team advises project companies, contractors, service providers, funders and public sector clients in the UK and Ireland on social and economic infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors including education, health, transport, wastewater, municipal waste and social housing.In this role you will work on a wide variety of infrastructure and construction projects. Your key responsibilities will include:Advising on project documents including project agreements, building contracts, facilities management contracts, appointment agreements, collateral warranties, direct agreements, bonds, guarantees, supplemental agreements and variation agreementsAdvising on the projects aspects of the procurement, funding, construction and operation of infrastructure projects (including in respect of the operational aspects of PPP/PFI/NPD/hub DBFM projects)Advising on hub design and build development projects including the drafting and preparation of design and build development agreements, construction subcontracts, corporate approval documents and other ancillary documentationTo be considered for this role you should be at the NQ – 6 years’ pqe level, an early 2022 qualifier would be considered. You should also be keen to grow your career in this area.
