The Senior Manager role is pivotal to this offering, ensuring clients receive first-class service and strategic tax support tailored to their business needs. You will act as a key business partner—the day-to-day face of the tax service—getting to know your clients inside out, identifying opportunities and risks, and leveraging expertise from across the firm to deliver value-driven tax solutions. What You’ll Do Be a trusted tax business partner for clients, proactively managing their UK corporate tax affairs. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a seamless service across compliance and advisory. Act as an extension of the client’s in-house tax or finance team, offering commercial insights and strategic tax solutions. Oversee corporate tax compliance, tax risk management, tax accounting, and reporting. Identify legislative and regulatory changes impacting clients and offer practical, business-specific recommendations. Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and coaching. Work closely with specialist teams across tax, legal, and consulting to provide holistic solutions. Spot and develop new business opportunities, helping clients to simplify and streamline their tax processes. What We’re Looking For ✅ Strong UK corporate tax expertise, ideally gained within a professional services firm or in-house tax team. ✅ Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor. ✅ A pragmatic and commercial mindset, with a strong focus on tax risk management and opportunity identification. ✅ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex tax issues. ✅ A collaborative and adaptable approach, comfortable working with multiple teams across different service lines. ✅ A professional qualification such as CA, ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT, or equivalent experience.
