This role will see you working closely with the regional commercial team, taking ownership of costs, budgets, subcontractor procurement, and valuations, while also mentoring and supporting junior team members. You'll play a key part in ensuring quality homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What you'll be doing: Managing build and infrastructure costs, budgets, variations, and cash flows. Overseeing procurement, subcontractor relationships, and contractual compliance. Providing detailed cost analysis and advice to site and project teams. Supporting and mentoring Assistant Quantity Surveyors, helping to shape their development. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure commercial success. What we're looking for: A relevant qualification or solid experience in Quantity Surveying. Strong commercial and technical knowledge of the residential construction sector. Financial awareness and a proactive, detail-focused approach. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. A collaborative team player with the drive to deliver results. Flexibility to travel to sites across the Hull region as required.
