Your new role As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems—responding to breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and supporting upgrades and installations.Key responsibilities include:Conducting planned and reactive maintenance across various systemsDiagnosing faults and implementing effective solutionsSupporting equipment installations, relocations, and modificationsMaintaining accurate records and inventoryEnsuringpliance with safety standards and promoting 5S principlesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to minimise downtimeShift pattern:Continental 12-hour shifts:4 days on, 4 off (6am–6pm)4 nights on, 4 off (6pm–6am)What you'll need to succeed NVQ, ONC, or City & Guilds qualification with apleted apprenticeshipMinimum 1 year post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance roleStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsEffectivemunication and time managementA proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solvingWhat you'll get in return Up to £55,000 salary (including shift allowance)21 days holiday + bank holidaysExtra day off for your birthdayConfidential employee support serviceInternal promotion opportunitiesDeath in service benefit
