The organisation is expanding its Joint Venture footprint and is investing in talent to support the growth of its European leveraged finance platform.Job DescriptionAs Vice President, you will support the management of existing and new Joint Venture programmes within the wider Structured Finance arm;This ia an opportunity to apply your leveraged finance expertise in a strategic, cross-functional setting with exposure to legal documentation, credit analysis, and structured lending.You will be the first VP hire in a newly created role, shaping how Joint Venture programmes are managed across a growing European leveraged finance platform.Responsibilities include:Conducting detailed credit analysis of transactions and preparing credit submissions for new transactions, amendments, waivers on exiting accounts, and re-financing opportunitiesHandling programme-level amendments and negotiations with internal credit teams and external Joint Venture partnersPreparing regular and ad hoc reporting for senior stakeholders and Joint Venture boardsCollaborating with legal, tax, and operational teams during programme setup and executionOccasionally supporting asset-level credit analysis and deal reviewsMentoring junior team members and contributing to broader department projectsBuilding strong relationships across internal departments and external programme partnersThe Successful ApplicantI'm keen to speak with candidates who have experience as follows:Strong experience in European leveraged finance, ideally from execution or portfolio managementDeep credit analysis skills, including financial modelling and interpretation of legal documentationExcellent communication and organisational abilities, with a collaborative mindsetInterest in programme structuring and legal mechanics; securitisation exposure is a plusAbility to manage multiple workstreams and mentor junior colleaguesFamiliarity with stakeholder engagement across credit, operations, and external partners**The ideal candidate would have a strong legal insight, or perhaps studied law at university before moving in to Leveraged Finance and wishes to lean on that exposure more in a Leverage Finance environment**What's on OfferA competitive salaryPermanent roleHybrid and flexible working arrangementsAn engaging work environment in London, offering exposure to senior stakeholders.Opportunity to shape a newly created role with strategic visibility and impact
