The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is up to £22.00 per hour all inclusive. Position: Pharmacy Technician Banding: 5 Location: Chelmsford Hours: 37.5 Payrate: £19.00 – £22.00/h Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 Weeks Essential skills: Experience of undertaking role of Medicines. Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting. (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling). Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system. Holds the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification. 2 years NHS experience. Duties: Undertake a range of dispensing and medicines supply functions to provide an efficient pharmaceutical service to wards and departments. This includes: Dispensing medicationsLabelling pharmaceuticalsPreparing medicationsAccuracy checking of pharmaceuticalsIssuing of pharmaceuticals Additionally, the role involves: Some aspects of stock controlManagement of pharmaceutical supplies Provide technical support to the dispensary, which encompasses: Dispensing prescriptionsChecking prescriptions for accuracy Why work with Pulse?
