Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Case Field ReviewsLocation: WakefieldRate: £35 per hour We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to form part of our team within Adult Social Care, which will be focusing on case file Reviews. This team consists of approximately 8 people in total, with a complement of social workers of various levels of experience. What will your responsibilities be?The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, creating and reviewing care plans under the Care Programme Approach, and providing social work interventions to service users and carers. Responsibilities include managing risk, safeguarding adults and children, coordinating care, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver treatment programs. The position requires preparing reports for tribunals, supervising staff and students, and investigating safeguarding concerns. Additional duties include chairing reviews, maintaining accurate records, adhering to professional development requirements, and contributing to team and service development, all while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Benefits: Focusing on reviews rather than long-term case holding High pay rate Hybrid working Working in a small team consisting of 8 Social Workers Qualifications and Experience: Candidates must hold a DipSW or equivalent qualification recognized by CCETSW, GSCC registration, and a valid driving licence. They should have at least two years of post-qualifying experience, including work with individuals with learning disabilities, serious mental health issues, and mentally disordered offenders, ideally in a forensic mental health setting. Approved Social Worker status or a willingness to undertake ASW training is required for certain roles, as well as a commitment to completing PQ1 within 12 months if not already obtained.
