Plumber

Your new role As a Maintenance Plumber, you’ll be part of a proactive maintenance team delivering both planned and reactive services across the site. You’ll specialise in plumbing and mechanical repairs, ensuring statutorypliance and supporting the wider team with general maintenance tasks. Multi-Skilled Technician (Plumber) Location: Beeston, Nottingham Salary: £36,500- £37,000 per annum + overtime Hours: Full-time, hours per week (10-week rolling rota, covering 2 weekends)Key responsibilities:Reactive plumbing and mechanical repairs in line with SLAsPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activitiesStatutory testing (PAT, fire alarms, fire doors, etc.)Accurate record-keeping and contractor liaisonHealth & Safety assessments and hazard reportingSupporting other sites and working additional hours during peak periods ( student arrivals)What you'll need to succeed NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing or a related mechanical tradeProven experience in a plumbing and maintenance environmentStrong understanding of building services and safe working practicesGood knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and statutoryplianceAbility to carry out both reactive and planned maintenance tasksExcellentmunication and organisational skillsWhat you'll get in return Overtime opportunities25 days holiday + bank holidaysUp to 5 additional holiday purchase daysLife insurance andpany pensionCycle to work scheme2 paid volunteering days a year
