Senior Town Planner Location: Central London Working Hours: Full-time, Office-based (5 days a week) Salary: From £45,000 per annum, depending on experience Are you a dynamic and experienced Senior Town Planner looking to make a significant impact in a leading consultancy? We are seeking a motivated professional with a strong background in the private sector to join our client in Central London. About the Role As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects across a variety of sectors, including: ·Retail ·Skyline and high-rise developments ·Commercial ·Education ·Residential ·Leisure and hospitality Your expertise will be integral in shaping the future of London's urban environment, offering innovative solutions that balance creativity, sustainability, and practicality. Key Responsibilities ·Manage and deliver planning applications and appeals for a range of projects. ·Provide expert advice to clients, ensuring compliance with planning regulations and policies. ·Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve successful outcomes. ·Undertake site appraisals, feasibility studies, and strategic planning. ·Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the planning team. Requirements ·Chartered status with the MRTPI (or actively working towards it). ·Proven experience in the private sector, with a track record of managing complex projects. ·Comprehensive knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation. ·Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. ·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
