Job description The role is to start ASAP. For this role you must: Have a strong academic background (degree or similar) Have worked with pupils before in a support/on a 1-2-1/group basis This roles purpose is to support SEMH pupils, giving them personal care and challenging behaviour (Nurturing Role) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working in a school – (Ideal) Previous Primary/SEN education experience (preferred) Previous SEMH experience – (Ideal) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided) School experience is NOT needed as long you have a care background or something similar CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – Leeds Position SEMH Teaching Assistant Start date ASAP Duration / Likely Duration Ongoing Full time/part-time Full Time Hours 08:30 3:30 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional related references OTHER
