Job description Position: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher (Full-time)Location: Bootle, SeftonStart Date: ASAP - February Half Term (minimum)Salary: £140 - £190 per day - Pay to scale after 12 weeks (salary dependent on experience)Aspire People are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Bootle, Sefton, who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive school community that prides itself on providing high-quality early education and care. The role will continue until at least February half term, with the potential for extension beyond this date.The Role:- Teaching within a Reception or Nursery class, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.- Planning and delivering play-based, child-centred lessons aligned with the Early Years Framework.- Supporting the individual needs of all children to ensure progress and inclusion.- Working collaboratively with support staff and the SENDCo to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.- Promoting children's social, emotional, and language development through creative and hands-on learning experiences.- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child's development and wellbeing.- Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records in line with school and EYFS expectations.What We're Looking For:- A passionate EYFS Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.- A minimum of two years' teaching experience within an Early Years setting.- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development.- A creative, nurturing, and flexible teaching approach.- Experience supporting children with SEND and diverse learning needs.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with staff and families.- The ability to provide two professional references and hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check.What We Offer:- A supportive partnership with Aspire People, one of the UK's leading education recruitment agencies.- Continuous professional development and guidance from our dedicated education consultants.- Competitive pay rates, reflective of your skills and experience.- Access to local school placements across Sefton and Liverpool.- Refer a Friend Bonus of £250 - recommend a friend and be rewarded- Joining Bonus of £100 after completing your first 10 days of work - no obligationIn the Early Years, great teaching shapes a child's lifelong love of learning.
