Job description SEMH TeacherProspero Teaching are looking for a Teacher to join an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting in Farnborough. You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team, working in an environment that prioritises positive relationships, respect, and helping young people build confidence in themselves and their learning. The school welcomes teachers from a variety of subject backgrounds. More important than subject specialism is your ability to adapt lessons, engage learners with complex needs, and create a safe, structured, and inspiring classroom environment. As a Teacher in this SEMH setting, every day will be varied and rewarding. You’ll work within a flexible framework, delivering personalised educational and therapeutic approaches that support each young person’s academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing. Contract Details Location – Farnborough, Hampshire Position – SEN Teacher Type of work – Key Stage 3 and 4 Contract or position start date – ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) – Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temp to Perm Full time/part time – Full time Minimum rate of pay – £168 a day Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings Experience, Training and Qualifications QTS or equivalent Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year Eligibility Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references Other Prospero Teaching is able to offer the successful candidate: Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management In-house Training and Development Team
