Job Title: Assistant Occupational Therapist Location: Ealing, West London Job Type: Full-time (Term Time Only) About the School: Located in Ealing, this well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, developmental delays, and sensory processing challenges. The Role: The school is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant Occupational Therapist to join its multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will work closely with the in-house Occupational Therapist to support the delivery of tailored therapy programs that enhance students’ participation, independence, and wellbeing in the school setting. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in delivering occupational therapy sessions, both 1:1 and in small groups * Support sensory integration and motor development interventions * Help monitor and record student progress * Adapt classroom tools and environments to meet individual needs * Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families * Maintain therapy materials and assist with administrative tasks Candidate Requirements: * Relevant qualification or experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or similar role * Previous experience with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable * Strong understanding of developmental and sensory needs * Kind, patient, and flexible approach * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) What the School Offers: * A collaborative and nurturing working environment * Ongoing professional development and supervision * A meaningful role where you can make a real impact * Term-time only hours for better work-life balance * Easily accessible Ealing location with strong transport links How to Apply: Early applications are encouraged as interviews may be scheduled before the closing date.
