Candidates MUST have a valid SIA Door Supervisor license to be considered for this role, however, if you have experience in the military, police or prison custody we can provide the relevant SIA Door Supervisor training. Competitive Pay Aligned with Agenda for Change and Unsocial Hours Supplements You also need to have a full UK driving license and access to your own car. Job Details Position: Hospital Security Officer Location: Required to cover hospitals in Birmingham, Solihull & Sutton Coldfield Pay Rate: £ per hour (£24,102 - £36,000 per annum - this is dependent on the shift pattern and number of shifts worked) Nights and Saturdays: £ per hour Sundays: £ per hour Bank Holidays: £ per hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shifts: Days, Nights, and WeekendsYour Time at WorkAs a Hospital Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing three NHS hospitals across Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield & Solihull. You will: - Work as part of a team to manage security across different sites - Utilise keen conflict management skills to de-escalate incidents - Interact with staff and the public, ensuring adherence to security protocols - Patrol premises, monitor car parks, and assist with emergency situations - Conduct searches and monitor CCTV cameras - Liaise with internal security teams and emergency services when necessary Applications will only be considered with a fully updated CV.
