A fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join Entrusts Education Improvement Services Staffordshire based team.Job title:Behaviour Consultant (Term Time Only Available)Job Description:Behaviour ConsultantStaffordshire & Surrounding Counties£30,000 - £32,000 depending on experienceTerm time only is an optionA fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join Entrusts Education Improvement Services Staffordshire based team.As a Behaviour Consultant, you will provide Special Educational Needs & Disabilities support, advice, and challenge to maintained schools and academies particularly in the area of SEMH. This role provides specialist advice to the schools and academies that we work with alongside working with students who need additional assessments and support.You will be working with a team of highly motivated and professional school improvement advisers and in your specialist area you will provide advice and guidance to schools and secure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The role will be field based (across Staffordshire and potentially surrounding Counties ) therefore you must have own transport.What you'll be doing:Contributing to the growth of Entrust' s Education Improvement team alongside your Head of ServicePreparing, delivering, and supporting training and consultancy across the SEND portfolio including pupil caseworkActively contributing to Entrusts traded services. Researching and identifying potential new markets and opportunitiesRepresenting Entrust in a range of forums and partnership events, own and manage client relationship to nurture business opportunitiesWhat we're looking for:Holds HLTA status with a particular interest in SEMHAn excellent track record of providing student support and delivery of significant improvements in quality across educational establishments for SEMH and SEND.Specialist knowledge and experience in behaviour management and supporting pupils with social/emotional/mental health needs.Experience in delivering trainingSchool SENCo experience/support highly desirable but not essentialAbility to undertake individual pupil assessments.An excellent knowledge of a school environment with evidence of working collaboratively with other agencies in these areasA flexible proactive approach with the ability to work independently and be intrinsically motivatedAbility to establish and build positive working relationships at all levelsUp to date knowledge of appropriate regulatory frameworksAbout EntrustEntrust is a joint venture between Capita and Staffordshire County Council.
