We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Assistant Editor (STM Journals) with an international medical and science publishing group, starting in January . We're looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Editor to join the team on a short-term temporary basis (2-3 months) to support a global editorial team with day to day editorial office administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on some experience as a Journals Assistant or Editorial Coordinator, and looking for a fully remote role. You'll play a key part in clearing a backlog of editorial tasks and ensuring smooth operations across a portfolio of STM journals. Your responsibilities will include: - Sending editorial invitations and correspondence - Updating and maintaining records in ScholarOne - Performing data entry and general editorial admin - Supporting the team with day-to-day publishing tasks What we're looking for: - Some experience in STM journal publishing or editorial coordination - Working knowledge of ScholarOne is essential - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills - A proactive, can-do attitude This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in academic publishing within a global team.
