HGV Class 1 Drivers - Kettering HGV1 (C+E) Drivers requiredLocation: KetteringPay: £18.00 Days / £19.50 Nights / £21 Sat / £22 SunThe RoleAverage shift length: 10–12 hours7-day operation (working week runs Sunday to Saturday)AM shifts: typically start between 04:00–06:00PM shifts: typically start between 16:00–19:00Average of 2 drops per shift, plus collectionsCurtain-sided vehicles – generally no handball; any occasional handball is very lightDelivery area spans:North: up to MansfieldWest: WednesburySouth: as far as ThatchamEast: as far as LowestoftDelivering cardboard packaging productsKey ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and drive HGV 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods to designated locationsPlan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveriesPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthinessAdhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulationsMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionCommunicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics team membersShifts are booked daily with shift confirmation times texted to you the day beforeRequirementsValid HGV 1 C+E licenceUp-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC CardMin 12 months HGV Class 1 C+E experienceStrong understanding of road safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWe will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.If you are a skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking for a rewarding job in the logistics industry, we'd love to hear from you.
