A thriving primary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately to support a pupil with behavioural needs. The Role You will work closely with a KS2 pupil who requires consistent 1:1 support to help manage behaviour, maintain focus, and achieve learning goals. The role involves working alongside the class teacher, supporting social and emotional development, implementing behaviour strategies, and providing a structured environment that encourages positive engagement and progress. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEND. Remains calm, patient, and resilient under pressure. Can establish strong rapport and trust with pupils and staff. Uses positive behaviour management and restorative approaches. Holds relevant SEN or TA qualifications (desirable but not essential).
