You will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold, and new build properties, while helping to grow the firm's presence in the city.This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years' experience in residential conveyancing, who is commercially minded, target-driven, and adaptable to change. You will benefit from a supportive business development team that will actively feed work into your team, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service to your clients without the pressure of generating new business yourself. This approach is rare in the industry, and the firm's dedicated business development teams ensure that your caseload remains consistent, so you can focus on what you do best.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a small team, consisting of a paralegal and assistant, focused on residential conveyancing work.Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold, and new builds.Play an instrumental role in establishing and growing the Bath office in collaboration with the leadership team.Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert legal advice and exceptional service.Supervise, mentor, and develop junior fee earners, paralegals, and assistants.Contribute to business development initiatives, working toward team targets to drive growth and success.What the Firm is Looking For:Solicitors or CILEX Lawyers with at least 2 years of experience (PQE is not a strict requirement).A commercially minded, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience managing a busy caseload and leading a team.Target-driven with a clear focus on achieving results and contributing to the firm's success.Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail.A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding client care.Caseload Expectations & Targets:The firm operates on a fixed-fee model, avoiding time recording, with targets set based on the number of property exchanges.
