Your newpany Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a single-form entry primary school in Warrington as they are looking for an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. This is an extremely supportive and weing school that requires a teaching assistant to support within their resource provision. This provision is a mixed KS1 and KS2 class for pupils with ASD and PMLD. Your new role As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be joining a highly experienced and supportive SEN team consisting of the SENCO who is also the resource class teacher and three other teaching assistants. The class you will be supporting consists of 9 pupils across KS1 and KS2 with a diagnosis of ASD and/or PMLD. You will play an integral part in their education and overall development by leading on interventions. You will work alongside the class teacher to plan, prepare and deliver interventions to support speech and language and social development.
