THE ROLE: You will be responsible for carrying out planned production work including manufacturing, assembly, repairs and testing of specialist high voltage electrical test equipment. You will follow technical instructions including, engineering drawings, work instructions and data packs.KEY DUTIES:Manufacture, assemble and test electrical assemblies and sub-assembliesSoldering electrical control boards and wiring harnessesAssembling and crimping of complex wiring harnessesFault finding and repair of electrical and associated assembliesMaintain workshop tools and equipment reporting failures to the Production ManagerEnsure all tools and equipment are within calibration date and specificationCorrectly fill out production job cards and other documentation relating to build and quality processesAdhere to company policies, procedures and processesMaintain clean work areas to maintain efficiency and safetyWork in a positive, efficient and safe mannerWear the appropriate PPE as directed by the Production ManagerCarry out any other task within scope and spirit of the positionThe Candidate:NVQ Level 2 or time served in electrical engineering/manufacturingGood IT skills (Word, Excel)Experience in working in the electronics industryExperience of working on high voltage systemsWillingness to train, and developGood customer/stakeholder relation skillsAbility to multi-taskForward thinkerNEXT STEPSTo apply for this role please do so online or email your CV directly to .
