With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, the business is investing in its facilities and workforce to meet growing demand and support the UK’s transition to cleaner energy.Your new role As Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of multi-skilled technicians responsible for maintaining electrical systems and equipment across a busy biomass terminal. You will oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and inpliance with industry standards.Your responsibilities will include managing maintenance schedules, supporting the installation andmissioning of new equipment, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams. You’ll ensurepliance with relevant regulations such as PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, LOLER, and DSEAR, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.What you'll need to succeed Experience supervising engineering teams in a heavy industrial, logistics, or energy-related environmentStrong understanding of electrical systems and relevant safety legislationProven ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement effective solutionsExcellentmunication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and contractorsMinimum HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical EngineeringFull, valid UK driving licenceWhat you'll get in return 27 days annual leave plus bank holidaysUp to 10% matched pension contributionFlexible benefits include a car scheme, healthcare plans, Cycle2Work, gym discounts, and retail vouchers.Strong focus on training and developmentAccess to an Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing support
