Year 6 Teaching Assistant – L20 Year 6 Teaching Assistant – Liverpool (L20 Area) Start Date: November Contract: Flexible hours Milk Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School in the Liverpool (L20) area. This is a great chance to make a real difference in a child’s learning journey as they prepare for secondary school, while enjoying flexible hours that fit around you. You’ll be part of a supportive school community, working with an experienced team. Your main role will be to give 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with ASD, helping them to succeed both academically and socially in the classroom. Your Main Duties: Support the inclusion and wellbeing of all pupils in the classroom. Provide 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with ASD. Help the class teacher with lessons, planning, and activities. Run fun and engaging catch-up or small group sessions when needed. Create a warm and positive learning space for all children. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting, ideally with SEN support. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or similar) — or strong relevant experience. A genuine love of helping children learn and achieve their best.
