Job Role – Client ManagerThe general role will be that of managing clients deadlines and working with the rest of the team to assist you to meet these deadlines and liaising with clients and the senior management team.You will report directly to the Senior Managers and the company Directors. The role will include the following: Liaising with your allocated clients on a regular basis, dealing with ad-hoc client queries and the collation of the records required to meet the relevant deadlinesReviewing the VAT returns prepared by the team“5 minute” reviews of your clients accounts jobs prior to them being reviewed by senior managementPreparation of accounts to draft stage for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.Preparation of Management accounts for clients, as and when required.Visiting clients at their premisesAssisting the other client managers with work planningAd hoc preparation of VAT returns where necessaryHelping to train the next generation of accountants within the team. This is a busy role with direct client contact and monthly deadlines to meet. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise in a busy environment, whilst managing client expectations. Role requirementsThe Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following skills: Communicating with clientsManaging peopleManaging deadlinesLiaising with senior managementWorking in a teamStrong attention to detail The successful candidate will be a fully qualified member of a chartered professional body. For clarity this includes ACCA, CA, CIMA & ICAEW.Due to the nature of the job, it is a requirement for the successful candidate to hold a full UK driving licence. Skills:The successful candidate should be hardworking and professional. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft office, to include Word, Excel and Outlook. Qualifications:The successful candidate will be a fully qualified member of a chartered professional body. For clarity this includes ACCA, CA, CIMA & ICAEW and has been achieved via the examination route. RemunerationThis role comes with an attractive package Annual salary of £36,000 to £43,000 based on experience Company Pension contributions of 3% Annual leave of 21 days plus bank holiday, plus 2 additional days to be taken at set times. We offer 1 day per year volunteer day for you to use volunteering at a local charity of your choice (in addition to your annual leave) On successful completion of your probationary period, we also offer up to 2 days per week WFH, this is booked in advance through our annual leave system We have a team lunch once a month courtesy of Pinfields We have a busy social calendar which all team members are invited to, but no pressure, if that’s not your thing.
