I’m working with a BCorp food business who are looking for a Buyer in Co Manufactured finished Products. Responsibilities include setting up contracts for supply manufacturing capacity efficiently and sustainably. The portfolio covers all manufacturing categories and regions, with possible extension to other raw materials and packaging. The business is hugely innovative in terms of food products, so you will work closely with the NPD and supply chain teams, supporting new launches and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders. The supply based is hugely varied – from small niche businesses to large well known international suppliers. The complexity of the supply base call for someone with fantastic supplier relationship skills, someone who can really take ownership and drive forward their category. You will need to be super enthusiastic, have fantastic communication and negotiations skills and be looking for an opportunity to really progress their career. You’ll need the following: Strong procurement experience working with 3rd party manufacturers within an FMCG environment (ideally food) Be commercially aware with strong negotiation skills Great MS Excel skills, be numerate and have great attention to detail Have strong communication skills A good work life balance is important to this business.
