Based at Nightingale House our Occupational Therapy Team are committed to supporting and assisting people with disabilities to improve their quality of life and be as independent as possible in their home environment. You should have an interest in developing your skills working with adults and children with disabilities who have complex needs, and will be responsible for the provision of specialist equipment and adaptations to promote independence.

You should have a good understanding of complex physical disabilities and experience in the provision of equipment and major adaptations. Knowledge of up to date moving and handling techniques and good IT skills would be an advantage.

You will be an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, confidently able to work on your own initiative, juggle a busy workload and build strong working relationships. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to demonstrate credibility with professionals from partner agencies.

If you have the ability to assess needs, prepare care plans and can implement accordingly with a working knowledge of current legislation this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
