What does a Senior/ Social Worker - MASH do at Hillingdon? As a Social Worker, you'll manage a varied caseload under supervision, accepting referrals, and conducting interviews. Your responsibilities include assessing issues, identifying objectives, and implementing effective solutions through a range of social work models and techniques. Collaborating with colleagues and partners is crucial to the role, along with maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data protection protocols.  As you progress, your role will involve managing a wider, complex caseload with increased autonomy. Demonstrating expertise in specific areas of social work, you'll be providing support for trainees, and acting as a 'buddy' for new inductees.  Responsibilities expand to conducting regular supervision, challenging discriminatory practices, and implementing proactive measures in emergency situations. You'll also contribute to team plans, demonstrating compliance with professional frameworks.  In the role of a Senior Social Worker, you'll manage a caseload of greater complexity, providing expert advice to colleagues and partners. Supervision of other Social Workers, participation in court proceedings, and chairing professional meetings are essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you'll contribute to team planning, providing professional development, and ensuring compliance with the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework at an experienced level.  About you We are looking for Social Workers who have children’s rights inscribed in their hearts and children’s aspirations focused in their minds.
